Road trip...

...to my thesis site!

Thanks to EJ for coming along and being my gate bitch, more than just a pretty face ;)

Lots of wading and fishing about, and lots of water birds too :) I took a few samples with my net to see what inverts are in there, and I'll check those out under a microscope within the next few days! This was just a reconnaissance mission to scope out the site where I'll be doing my thesis next year.
